Deidre says: Absolutely love the variety! I have been listening to celtic rock off and on for years, but hadn't really taken the time to really find bands that I like. Celtic Pink Ribbon introduced me to a few that I already knew, and quite a few more who I hadn't run across. Green Eyes, Red Hair (Gaelic Storm) has got to be my favorite (but as a green eyed red head I'm biased). I find myself singing/humming both City of Chicago (Screaming Orphans) and Prettiest Girl at the Fair (Barleyjuice) on a regular basis, and Black Velvet Band (Gael in the Harbor) took a few listens but has now become one of my favorites. This collection spans everything from traditional ballads to solid rock hits, it's really fantastic. The fact that you're also supporting breast cancer research while rocking out is just the icing on the cake!
Kirby says: In general, I love REAL Celtic music; not the fake kind in the Celtic Woman shows. I have been to Ireland & the music in their pubs is great. Songs on the Celtic Pink Ribbon are, at least, somewhat similar to the pub songs.
